Google books

Finally Google has managed to digitally produce excerpts from a huge range of books, fiction and non-fiction. Previously they had copyright issues to overcome. They wanted to reproduce entire texts. AS a librarian I should check the percentage of text allowable without breaking copyright laws, but I guess google has done that.

You can browse by category, classical, modern or whatever.

Google also has links to where you can buy these books. I guess this is how they make a profit from this mammoth task.
