Drop shadow effect on text in PSP

Open an image about 200 x 50 with a background colour of your choice.

Click on the Text tool and then on the image. Type in the text making sure that the Create as is Floating this time, with Antialias checked.

Make sure you have the Stroke and Fill Styles and Textures made as you want them and the Font and Size.

  

I chose a red Stroke and a white Fill.

Now select Effects > 3D Effects > Drop shadow and set as I have here or change the controls to suit

Press OK and here we have it
