Making backgrounds for web pages in PSP

How to create a seamless tile.

Make a new image 100 x 100 pixels with a white background and 16.7 million colours

You can now play with this image to get the effects you want.

  

I have selected Effects > Texture effects > Sculpture

Then for the pattern I selected number 14 in psp 7 or the marble like one.

You can fiddle with all the controls here but I selected Size% = 25 because I wanted the shapes to be small. You can change the colour also by clicking in the Color box. Click OK.

 

Now Click on the selection tool looking like this and choose a square.

Drag the mouse to create a square inside the image Select Selections from the menu > Convert to Seamless Pattern and Save.
