Site map generator suitable for Google.

 

I have used another sitemap generator for this web site, submitted it to Google and it has been approved.

How do I know it has been approved. You go to Google webmaster sitemaps

You need to set up an account with google if you haven't got one.

My sitemap is being shown as approved and verified. This is important for your google ranking.

 

You can do a search for a google sitemap generator, but they are different for blogs and web pages.

Don't forget to submit it to Google after you have uploaded your sitemap.xml file to your server.

You will get much more information from google sitemaps and sitemaps.org but I found the directions from Google rather confusing which is why I used a generator. Here is an example of a google compatible sitemap generator and another is here

You upload this .xml file to your server of course and to Google.

Some people say you should encode this site map.
